Landon misses grandpa Anderson a lot.
My dad had a heart attack on Sunday at 1 PM. My mom called me at 3ish to let me know what happened and also to let me know that someone had to make dinner for the whole family. She didn't know when she would be home but she knew it would be late. My dad is not the type to go to the hospital, but it is a good thing he did. The doctor put a stint in his heart and said that the blockage had just barely occurred. Dad said that he didn't like being there but from the stories we are hearing, he is enjoying it. He figured out how to hold his breath and make the monitor spell Mike on them. He also has held his breath and made it straight line it and so the nurses would run in and make sure he is ok.
He told my mom that he now has sympathy for a woman when she has a baby, but thats a little to late since his baby is 21 years old now.
My dad is supposed to come home today, but I have not heard if he did make it home. I am sure he did because he hates that the nurses come in every 20 minutes through the night to check up on him. He says that is no fun.
We went and visited my dad on Monday at 3 Pm and it was fun to see him stuck in bed. My dad is so out going there is no stopping him. He had monitors hooked up to him when we visited him and he would have the kids hook it to their fingers. The nurses probably knew my dad would do that.

Brenda Christensen, Diane Hepting and my mom handed out treats after the guests got off the train. It was so much fun to be able to see all of the costumes. We had 3905 people come to the train ride. That was spread out across 3 nights but it was still a lot.

Sunday get together

We carved pumpkins and dressed up. It was so fun to see Landon get in his airplane costume. Alan was a ghost that night but it didn't fit him well so we changed his costume to a safety quilt.

We all got together on Sunday after dinner to take our Halloween pictures. It was fun to see each other's costume before the big day.

Grandma Brown & Landon

Landon and Grandma Brown are best buds. Landon gets to be with her every Saturday and so when he gets to see her on Sunday's it is an extra special day! He love to give her hugs and make her smile. Grandma always reminds me of the time when Alan and I were in being sealed and they brought Landon in and put his hand on ours and it was so special. She says that is her favorite moment and that Landon is special to her.

Landon's first hair cut pictures, but second hair cut coming Thursday!

Landon is getting his second professional hair cut on Thursday. His hair grows so fast it is unreal! He is also getting so big so fast. This haircut was about 2 months ago. He didn't enjoy it at all but he will learn to love short hair.

Robert Matthew Anderson

My sister in law had her baby the other day, well last Tuesday. I know its been a while since I have posted anything, but it is because she went in to labor at my moms house while we were eating dinner and so I had to take her kids home with me. I have been watching them for most of the week, but it was so fun to have her kids. They are really amazing kids.

Since she had her baby, we took their kids to a carnival and it was Landon's first carnival. He had so much fun, but was very uncertain of the things that were happening. He tried to keep up with the other kids the best he could. Since he is only 2 he got away with doing things closer than the other kids, so he just as well as them on the games.

RaeAnn came home on Friday evening and her kids were so glad to see her again. It took them a little bit of time to be okay about their mom not being around.

Just getting started

Well, today I decided I am going to get busy and start creating a family blog. I know this just adds to the many scrapbooking items I put together, but something updated often will be fun! This has been a fun year for our family. I quit my job at American Fork High School and now I am a stay at home mom. I am loving being at home. Landon definately needs me here. He turned 2 in June and definately acts like a 2 year old. He is very stubborn and tries to get his way. Generally he does not get his way, but occasionally he does. I guess that is ok for him to get his way. He is slowly working on potty training and working on staying in his big boy bed. He has learned to trace lines and to say new words. His favorite new word is TRAIN! Of course that is his favorite word since Grandpa Anderson has one going around his yard. Lately, I have been working on my family calendar for next year and Landon sits in my lap and says the kids names as we go through them. It is so exciting to know that he is learning his cousin's names. It is absolutely wonderful to see him excited to learn new words and new things. He is also learning shapes and colors. He has a shape cube and has figured out how it works. AWESOME!

Alan has been with Heritage Makers for 2 years now and he is loving it. Every day brings him new challenges especially right now since they are moving the ware house around. He is currently the Warehouse supervisor, but soon will hopefully be the Warehouse Manager. This change gives him more opportunities to grow with the company. The company recently flew him and his boss to California for a day to look at a piece of equipment so that they can start doing more items in house. We look forward to these opportunities when he can do more for the company.

Since I am a stay at home mom now, I have been able to focus more on my current job. My current job is selling Scentsy from home. This has been a great opportunity for me to go out and meet many new people. This gives me the chance to see new places and earn a little extra income for the family. This has definately helped us out a lot more than we expected. Since my focus has gone to Scentsy and being home, I am stress free. It is really helping me relax and enjoy Landon more and more! Since I have been home, I have been able to help with more things with my mom and sisters. I get to go out and do things with people and I don't have to try to work around a work schedule. ITS GREAT!
